Reactive Intermediates & Crosslinkers

The reactive chemistry that builds and bonds high-performance systems. From monomers and silanes to isocyanates, amine curatives, and powder coating crosslinkers, Lintech supplies the intermediates that give formulations their structure, adhesion, and durability.

WHY IT MATTERS

Reactive chemistry gives you control over how a formulation builds, bonds, and lasts.

Reactive intermediates and crosslinkers are the chemistry behind high-performance coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers. These materials provide the reactivity, adhesion, and structural control that define mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and long-term durability — turning liquid formulations into functional films with precise control over hardness, flexibility, and weatherability.

Lintech offers a comprehensive portfolio of reactive chemistries, including methacrylates, functional silanes, isocyanates, amine-based curatives, and powder coating crosslinkers, sourced from trusted global suppliers. Each material is selected for consistency, purity, and compatibility, allowing formulators to fine-tune molecular architecture, cure profile, and film properties across a wide range of applications. With decades of experience and strong supplier partnerships, we deliver reliable solutions that enhance process efficiency, extend product lifetimes, and drive innovation in every formulation.

WHAT WE OFFER

Product Portfolio

Explore our full range of Reactive Intermediates & Crosslinkers, organized by chemistry and function to help you find the right fit for your formulation.

Amine Curatives

  • Curing Agent — A crosslinker of amine-functional hardener, such as polyaspartic or blocked diamine, that reacts with isocyanate or epoxy resins to cure coatings into a crosslinked network.
  • Chain Extender — A crosslinker of low-molecular-weight amine that links prepolymer chains during cure, extending chain length and building molecular weight to develop mechanical strength.

Isocyanates, Prepolymers & Polyisocyanate Crosslinkers

  • MDI Isocyanate — A crosslinker of diphenylmethane diisocyanate, pure or polymeric, that reacts with hydroxyl-functional polyols to build polyurethane networks, developing molecular weight, strength, and cure.
  • MDI Prepolymer — A crosslinker of isocyanate-terminated MDI prepolymer, MDI pre-reacted with polyol or polyamine, that cures with moisture or co-reactants to build tailored polyurethane and polyurea networks.
  • Blocked Polyisocyanate Crosslinker — A crosslinker of polyisocyanate whose reactive groups are temporarily capped, unblocking on heating to cure one-component and powder polyurethane systems with extended stability before bake.
  • Polycarbodiimide Crosslinker — A crosslinker of polycarbodiimide that reacts with carboxyl-functional resins to crosslink waterborne systems, improving film integrity, adhesion, and chemical and water resistance.
  • Diisocyanate Monomer — A crosslinker-grade difunctional isocyanate monomer used as a building block for polyurethane prepolymers and as a reactive hardener in two-component systems.
  • Polyisocyanate Crosslinker — A crosslinker of multifunctional aliphatic or aromatic polyisocyanate that reacts with hydroxyl-functional resins to build a polyurethane network, raising hardness, chemical resistance, and durability.

Methacrylate Monomers

  • Methacrylate Monomer — A bulk reactive methacrylic monomer, such as a methacrylate ester, methacrylic acid, methacrylamide, or hydroxy-functional methacrylate, that polymerizes and copolymerizes to build acrylic polymers, resins, and reactive networks.

Silane Crosslinkers

  • Polyfunctional Silane Crosslinker — A multi-silyl or polyfunctional alkoxy- or acetoxy-silane that hydrolyzes and condenses into a siloxane network, acting as an isocyanate-free crosslinker or sole binder to cure and harden coatings, adhesives, and sealants.
