Acrylics & Methacrylates
- Reactive Methacrylate Resin — A liquid reactive methacrylate resin system that cures by free-radical polymerization to form a tough crosslinked film, used as a two-component flooring, screed, and primer resin and as a cold-plastic road-marking binder, together with its methacrylic reactive diluents.
- Methacrylate Binder Resin — A solid thermoplastic poly(methyl methacrylate) or methacrylate-copolymer resin supplied as bead, granulate, ground bulk, spray-dried emulsion, or solution that dissolves and film-forms as the binder in coatings, printing inks, lacquers, and PVC finishes, with some grades serving as the base for reactive hot-melt adhesives or as functional anti-blocking and rheology additives.
- Acrylic Resin — A resin of acrylic or methacrylic polymer that serves as a film-forming binder, including ultraviolet- and electron-beam-curable grades for fast-curing finishes.
Amino, Fluoro & Specialty Resins
- Epoxy Modifier Resin — A reactive liquid epoxy modifier that blends into epoxy, polyurethane, and acrylic systems as a diluent, plasticizer, and toughener, lowering viscosity and improving flexibility, adhesion, and processing while curing into the network.
- Amino Resin — A resin of amino-formaldehyde chemistry, such as melamine, benzoguanamine, or urea, that crosslinks hydroxyl- and carboxyl-functional binders in stoving systems to build hard, chemical-resistant films.
- Fluoropolymer Resin — A resin that forms a fluorinated (FEVE) binder film delivering outstanding weatherability, gloss retention, and chemical resistance, crosslinkable in solventborne, waterborne, powder, or flake coating systems.
Hydrocarbon Resins & Tackifiers
- Hydrocarbon Resin Tackifier — A petroleum-derived hydrocarbon resin, in C5 aliphatic, C9 aromatic, cycloaliphatic, hydrogenated water-white, or pure-monomer form, that acts as a tackifier and modifier raising tack, compatibility, and bonding in adhesive, rubber, marking, and coating systems.
Polyesters & Alkyds
- Alkyd Resin — A resin of oil- or fatty-acid-modified polyester that serves as the binder in coatings and varnishes, film-forming by oxidative drying or by crosslinking with isocyanates.
- Unsaturated Polyester Resin — A resin of unsaturated polyester that cures by free-radical polymerization through peroxide or UV initiation, serving as the binder in coatings, body fillers and putties, and fiber-reinforced composite parts.
- Saturated Polyester Resin — A resin of saturated, often hydroxyl-functional polyester that serves as the binder in two-component polyurethane and stoving coatings, reacting with isocyanate or amino crosslinkers to form flexible, durable films.
Polyurethane Raw Materials & Systems
- Polyurethane/Polyurea System — A resin of a fully formulated polyol or polyamine blend that cures with an isocyanate component to form a polyurethane or polyurea elastomer, coating, or cast part.
- Polyether Polyol — A resin of hydroxyl-functional polyether polyol that serves as the soft-segment building block reacted with isocyanates, contributing flexibility, resilience, and hydrolytic stability to polyurethane systems.
- Polyester Polyol — A resin of hydroxyl-functional saturated polyester that serves as the backbone binder in two-component and powder polyurethane systems, reacting with isocyanate crosslinkers to form the film.
Silicon-based & Inorganic Binders
- Silane Sol-Gel Binder — A water-based silane sol-gel system of organofunctional silanes and nanoscale silica that condenses into an inorganic-organic hybrid network, serving as the binder or primer that forms the protective film itself.
- Silicate Ester Binder — A tetraethyl-orthosilicate or ethyl-polysilicate ester that hydrolyzes and condenses to deposit silica, acting as an inorganic binder for primers, refractories, and precision-casting and sol-gel systems.
