LUMIFLON FD-916 is a new water-based dispersion. This resin can be crosslinked with water-dispersible isocyanates to yield coatings with high gloss and excellent durability and corrosion resistance. Product Characteristics: High OH functionality; Excellent weatherability, chemical resistance, and water resistance; Good adhesion to primers; Curable at both ambient and elevated temperatures; Suitable for coil coatings and field applied coatings.

LUMIFLON FE-4300 is a water emulsion product that was developed to enable formulators to meet VOC and HAPS regulations on many solvents in the U. S. LUMIFLON FE-4300 has low hydroxyl functionality, and is designed for use in single component coatings. Like other LUMIFLON resins, FE-4300 is used to produce coatings with high gloss and excellent weatherability. FE-4300 can also be used in blends with standard acrylic resins to substantially improve weathering of these conventional products. Product Characteristics: Low OH functionality; Good weathering and chemical resistance; Blends improve weathering of standard coating systems; Used for field applied architectural, concrete, and direct-to-metal coatings.

LUMIFLON FE-4400 is a water emulsion product that was developed to meet VOC and HAPS regulations on many solvents in the U. S. FE-4400 is hydroxyl functional, and can be crosslinked with water-dispersible polyisocyanates. Like other LUMIFLON resins, FE-4400 is used to produce coatings with high gloss and excellent weatherability. Product Characteristics: Moderate OH functionality; Excellent weathering and chemical resistance; High minimum film forming temperature; Suitable for ambient cure and bake coatings; Used in architectural and coil coatings.

LUMIFLON LF-200 is a moderate molecular weight, moderate OH number resin. It is typically used in applications where outstanding weathering is required, but only moderate chemical resistance. Markets include architectural coatings, light duty industrial coatings, and coatings for concrete. Product Characteristics: Moderate OH functionality; Excellent weatherability and water resistance, good chemical resistance; Excellent adhesion to primers, fiberglass, plastics, and composites; Wide range of gloss possible; Curable at both ambient and elevated temperatures; Suitable for shop and field applied coatings.

LUMIFLON LF-200F is a solvent-free LUMIFLON product in flake form, developed to meet increased government regulation of volatile organic solvents and safety regulation, and to give coating manufacturers the freedom to use custom solvent systems when designing coatings. LUMIFLON LF-200F is the same resin as AGC’s standard product LF-200. Applications for LUMIFLON flake resins include automotive and aerospace coatings, architectural coatings, coatings for plastics and steel, and industrial coatings.
