What We Offer

Product Portfolio

Explore our full range of Performance Additives, organized by chemistry and function to help you find the right fit for your formulation.

Biocides & Preservatives

  • In-Can Preservative — An additive microbiocide that protects a liquid formulation from bacterial, fungal, and yeast spoilage during manufacture and storage, preserving viscosity, odor, color, and performance in the container.
  • Dry-Film Preservative — An additive microbiocide incorporated into the cured film or finished article to protect it in service against defacement and biodeterioration by mold, mildew, fungi, and algae.

Building Blocks & Misc

  • Polyethylene Glycol — An additive of polyethylene glycol of a given molecular weight that acts as a water-soluble plasticizer, lubricant, humectant, dispersion aid, and processing additive across a range of systems.
  • Plasticizer — An additive of an ester plasticizer that softens and flexibilizes a polymer, lowering its glass transition and improving flexibility, elongation, and processability without imparting flame retardancy.
  • Fatty Alcohol — An additive of a raw linear or branched primary fatty alcohol that serves as a building block and functional aid, contributing defoaming, lubricating, slip, and co-surfactant effects in a formulation.
  • Specialty Additive — An additive that delivers a targeted performance effect within the formulation, addressing a specific processing or end-property need beyond the standard additive functions.

Cure, Dry & Film-Formation

  • Polymerization Initiator & Accelerator — An additive that starts or speeds the free-radical cure of a reactive resin system – an organic peroxide that decomposes to generate radicals, a tertiary-amine or metal-soap (e.g. cobalt) promoter that accelerates that decomposition so an unsaturated-polyester or (meth)acrylate resin cures at low or ambient temperature, or a photoinitiator that generates radicals under UV light.
  • Drier — An additive, typically a metal-carboxylate soap or blend (cobalt, manganese, zirconium, calcium, and related metals), that catalyzes and balances the oxidative drying of air-drying binders – controlling surface- and through-cure – together with the auxiliary driers, drier accelerators and ligands, and loss-of-dry inhibitors that tune that drying.
  • Cure / Crosslinking Catalyst — An additive used at catalytic level to accelerate the cure of a polyurethane, silanol-condensation, or powder/two-component crosslinking system – such as an organotin (dibutyltin dilaurate) or a tetraalkylammonium-carboxylate catalyst – speeding network formation without itself building into the polymer.
  • Coalescing Agent / Open-Time Additive — An additive that aids film formation and extends working time in waterborne systems, helping particles coalesce into a continuous, integral film as water evaporates.

Dispersion & Surface-Control

  • Surfactant / Emulsifier — An additive that reduces interfacial tension to stabilize emulsions and disperse incompatible phases, keeping the system homogeneous during production and storage.
  • Defoamer / De-aerator — An additive that suppresses foam and releases entrained air during mixing and application, giving smooth, void-free films free of surface and bulk defects.
  • Wetting & Dispersing Additive — An additive that wets and stabilizes pigments and fillers, improving dispersion efficiency, color development, and storage stability while preventing flocculation.
  • Flow & Leveling Additive — An additive that lowers surface tension and regulates flow so applied films level out evenly, minimizing brush marks, orange peel, and other surface irregularities.
  • Rheology Modifier — An additive that adjusts viscosity and flow behavior to control sag, settling, and application properties across the system's shear range.

Flame Retardants

  • Flame Retardant Plasticizer — An additive, typically a phosphate ester or chlorinated paraffin, that softens and plasticizes a polymer while simultaneously imparting flame retardancy, combining two functions in a single liquid.
  • Flame Retardant — An additive that reduces a material's flammability by suppressing ignition, slowing flame spread, and limiting smoke, acting through halogenated, phosphorus, nitrogen, inorganic-mineral, or synergist mechanisms.

Silane Additives

  • Surface Modification — An additive that modifies the cured surface to impart properties such as slip, scratch and mar resistance, anti-blocking, or improved feel and appearance.
  • Coupling Silane — An organofunctional silane, such as a vinyl, methacryl, mercapto, or ureido grade, whose single silyl anchor couples inorganic fillers and substrates to the organic polymer matrix, improving filler reinforcement, crosslinking, and surface compatibility.
  • Surface-Modifying Silane — A non-coupling organofunctional silane or siliconate – whether an alkyl or fluoroalkyl grade that imparts water and oil repellency or a polyethyleneglycol grade that imparts hydrophilicity – that treats substrate and filler surfaces to alter their wettability and surface energy without forming reactive bonds to the polymer.
  • Adhesion Promoter Silane — An organofunctional silane – amino, epoxy, or oligomeric siloxane – whose hydrolyzable alkoxysilyl groups bond to inorganic surfaces while its organofunctional group reacts with the organic polymer, promoting adhesion and bond durability between dissimilar materials.

Stabilizers & Antioxidants

  • UV Absorber — An additive that protects a polymer or coating by absorbing harmful UV radiation and re-emitting it as heat, reducing UV-induced degradation, yellowing, and loss of properties; the specific chemistry (benzotriazole, triazine, benzophenone, benzoate, oxanilide, etc.) is carried in the product type.
  • Antioxidant — Antioxidants that protect polymers and binders from thermo-oxidative degradation: primary chain-breaking types (hindered phenols, aromatic amines), secondary hydroperoxide-decomposing types (phosphites, thioesters), and ready-to-use synergistic primary+secondary blends. Primary/secondary/blend distinction carried in product type.
  • Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer — An additive that protects a polymer or coating by scavenging the free radicals generated during UV-induced photo-oxidation, preserving mechanical properties, gloss, and color; the monomeric vs polymeric class is carried in the product type.
  • Light Stabilizer Blend — A ready-formulated synergistic combination of a UV absorber and a hindered amine light stabilizer (and/or other stabilizers), supplied as a single product for broad-spectrum protection against UV-induced degradation and weathering.
  • Anti-Skinning Agent — An additive that temporarily inhibits surface oxidation so oxidative-drying systems resist forming a skin in the can, preserving shelf life until application.

Waxes & Lubricants

  • Metallic Stearate — An additive of a metal salt of stearic acid that gels and bodies vehicles, improves pigment suspension and water repellency, and lubricates, modifying flow and surface properties in a formulation.
  • Fischer-Tropsch Wax — An additive of a synthetic Fischer-Tropsch (GTL) hydrocarbon wax, in any modification or form, that imparts lubricity, slip, matting, and gloss control and serves as a masterbatch and hot-melt carrier and processing aid in a formulation.
  • Specialty Wax — An additive of a non-Fischer-Tropsch wax or petrolatum, such as refined paraffin, a paraffin-alcohol blend, or a petrolatum dispersion, that provides lubricity, water repellency, anticorrosion, and surface-protection effects in a formulation.
  • Lubricant Wax — An additive wax such as ethylene-bis-stearamide that lubricates, releases, and disperses in a formulation, reducing friction and sticking while improving processing, slip, and surface finish.
