Carbonates & Preparations
- Cellulose Fiber — A purified natural cellulose fiber used as a filter aid, extender, carrier, absorbent, or reinforcement fiber, valued for its high purity, low ash content, and environmentally friendly plant-based origin.
- Calcium Carbonate — A mineral filler of high-purity ground calcium carbonate that adds bulk, whiteness, and processing stability to a formulation, extending costlier ingredients while influencing viscosity, opacity, and dimensional stability.
- Extender Preparation — A colourless inorganic extender supplied as a ready-dispersed aqueous preparation for tinting and adjusting decorative coatings, adding bulk and tuning opacity and rheology without shifting shade.
Clay Minerals
- Kaolin Clay — A mineral filler of refined kaolin clay that adds bulk, reinforcement, brightness, or hiding to a formulation, partially replacing costlier ingredients while influencing strength, viscosity, and opacity.
- Chlorite — A mineral filler of high-purity, high-alumina chlorite that serves as a white functional extender pigment, contributing sheen control, opacity, and crack resistance while extending costlier ingredients.
- Montmorillonite Clay — A mineral filler of montmorillonite (smectite / bentonite-family) clay, a swelling aluminosilicate used as an activated bleaching earth to decolorize and purify oils and process fluids and as a binder and carrier.
Diatomite, Perlite & Lightweight
- Diatomaceous Earth — A mineral filler of natural, calcined, or flux-calcined diatomaceous earth whose porous biogenic silica structure extends and flats coatings, clarifies liquids as a filter aid, decolorizes oils, absorbs liquids, and serves agricultural and pest-control uses depending on the grade.
- Perlite — A mineral filler of expanded, milled perlite, a low-density volcanic-glass mineral used chiefly as a high-throughput, low-density filtration medium and lightweight functional extender.
- Hollow Ceramic Microsphere — A mineral filler of hollow, lightweight ceramic (fused alumino-silicate) microspheres that reduce density and add bulk to a formulation, lowering weight and cost while improving flow, packing, and dimensional stability.
Mica & Feldspar
- Nepheline Syenite — A mineral filler of milled nepheline syenite, a silica-deficient sodium-potassium alumina silicate, whose low oil absorption, near-resin refractive index, and hardness let it be loaded heavily to extend costlier ingredients while contributing brightness, durability, clarity, and abrasion resistance.
- Muscovite Mica — A mineral filler of ground muscovite mica whose platy, high-aspect-ratio flakes reinforce a formulation and improve barrier properties, dimensional stability, crack resistance, and weatherability, spanning wet-ground, dry-ground, blended, calcined, and kaolinitic grades.
- Feldspar — A mineral filler of milled feldspar that adds bulk, hardness, and durability to a formulation while extending costlier ingredients and contributing chemical and weather resistance.
Silicas
- Ground Silica — A mineral filler of ultra-white finely ground silica or cristobalite used as a functional white extender that complements or partially replaces titanium dioxide, adding whiteness, opacity, and durability.
- Precipitated Silica — A mineral filler of synthetic amorphous precipitated silica that reinforces rubber compounds and, in finer grades, controls anti-caking, free-flow, carrier, matting, and abrasive functions in powders and coatings.
- Fumed Silica — A mineral filler of synthetic amorphous fumed silica, supplied in untreated/hydrophilic and surface-treated/hydrophobic grades, that builds thixotropic structure to thicken systems, control sag and settling, and reinforce, while improving powder free-flow; treated grades add water resistance and perform in moisture-sensitive and non-polar systems.
Talc
- Microcrystalline Talc — A mineral filler of fine, compact microcrystalline talc (high surface area, high oil absorption) that adds reinforcement, barrier, anti-corrosion, flatting, or processing benefits to a formulation while extending costlier ingredients.
- Macrocrystalline (Lamellar) Talc — A mineral filler of platy, high-lamellarity macrocrystalline talc that adds stiffness, dimensional stability, barrier, and reinforcement to a formulation while extending costlier ingredients.
