Pigments & Colorants
Color solutions that define appearance, identity, and performance. From organic and inorganic pigments to dyes, dispersions, effect pigments, and specialty colorants, Lintech supplies technologies that help formulators achieve the right balance of color strength, opacity, durability, and visual impact.
Why It Matters
Color is more than just aesthetics
Colorants and pigments are critical components that define product identity, functionality, and performance. Our pigments and colorants portfolio offers a diverse range of solutions, from vibrant dyes to durable pigments, engineered to meet the demands of industries such as coatings, plastics, inks, and more.
Whether you’re seeking intense, transparent colors or high-opacity finishes, our offerings include inorganic pigments for durability, organic pigments for vivid hues, and special effect pigments for metallic and reflective finishes. For easy formulation, explore our dispersions, and for specialty needs like rust prevention or corrosion resistance, discover our advanced corrosion inhibitors and flash rust solutions.
With a focus on quality, consistency, and technical performance, our products empower you to create bold, durable, and innovative formulations that stand out in any market.

What We Offer
Product Portfolio

Dispersions & Preparations
- Pigment Dispersion — A ready-dispersed liquid pigment concentrate or tinting colorant that delivers pre-milled color into waterborne and solvent-borne paints, printing inks, and point-of-sale tinting systems for consistent color development.
- Pigment Preparation — A dry or solid pre-dispersed pigment preparation, plastics color concentrate, or multi-component hybrid colour pigment that eases handling and gives consistent, reproducible coloration when let down into a coating or polymer system.
Dyes & Optical Brighteners
- Solvent Dye — A soluble organic dye supplied in powder form that dissolves into a polymer or vehicle to give bright, transparent coloration rather than the opacity of a dispersed pigment.
- Water-Soluble Dye — A water-soluble dye (acid, direct, reactive, food, or non-staining type) that dissolves in an aqueous vehicle to colour it transparently, distinct from solvent-soluble dyes and from particulate pigments.
- Optical Brightener — A fluorescent whitening agent that absorbs ultraviolet light and re-emits it as blue, masking yellowness and raising the apparent brightness and whiteness of polymers and synthetic fibers.
Effect Pigments
- Pearlescent Effect Pigment — A pigment built on transparent glass-flake, mica, or silicate platelets coated with metal oxides, producing pearlescent luster and angle-dependent interference color in a system.
- Metallic Effect Pigment — A pigment of thin metal flakes (aluminium, copper-zinc bronze, zinc, stainless steel, or vacuum-metallized) that imparts metallic luster, brilliance, and reflectivity to a system in powder, paste, or dispersion form.
Functional & Specialty Powders
- Functional Pigment — A metallic pigment (such as zinc dust or copper flake) supplied for a functional rather than decorative job, providing galvanic anti-corrosion protection or electrical conductivity and EMI shielding through its metal content and particle form.
- Anticorrosive Pigment — A corrosion-inhibiting pigment, typically a zinc, calcium, or strontium ortho- or poly-phosphate, organic zinc salt, or calcium-modified silica, that is dispersed in protective primers and coatings to form passivating layers on metal substrates and suppress underfilm corrosion.
- Functional Metal Powder — A pigment-class reactive metal powder of atomized spherical or irregular particles, supplied for chemical, pyrotechnic, and lightweight-aggregate uses where metal content and particle form drive function rather than visual effect.
Inorganic Pigments
- Inorganic Pigment — A colored inorganic pigment, typically a high-temperature calcined complex inorganic (CICP) spinel or rutile, that imparts durable opaque color with outstanding heat, light, weather, and chemical resistance to a system.
- Iron Oxide Pigment — A synthetic iron-oxide colour pigment in red, yellow, black, or brown shades (including iron-bearing mixed-metal-oxide ferrites and transparent grades) that imparts durable, opaque or transparent, weather- and light-fast earth-tone colour to a system.
- Titanium Dioxide Pigment — A titanium dioxide white pigment, rutile or anatase, that delivers high opacity, brightness, and hiding power as the primary white opacifier and tinting white in a system.
Organic Pigments
- Organic Pigment — A colored organic pigment (such as monoazo, diarylide, naphthol, phthalocyanine, quinacridone, dioxazine, benzimidazolone, isoindolinone, or quinophthalone chemistry) that imparts strong, bright chromatic color and high tinting strength to a system as an insoluble dispersed particulate.
