SONGWON COATINGS

SONGCURE CS 819 is a photoinitiator for free radical polymerisation of unsaturated resins upon UV light exposure. Especially designed for white pigmented formulations, for clear coats in outdoor use and for the curing of glass fiber polyester-styrene systems. Its major features and applications are:; Outstanding absorption characteristics for usage in thick sections and UV-LED curable formulations.; Usage in UV curable formulations of clear and pigmented coatings on wood, metal, plastic, paper, and optical fibers as well as for printing inks.; Due to its photosensitivity at longer wavelengths, can easily be used in combination with UV absorbers for weather-resistant UV curable coatings.; Can be used at the rate of 0.1% to 1% (or up to 1.5% in inks) in solvent free mixtures of oligomers and monomers. For optimal performance, the amount of SONGCURE CS 819 should be determined in trials covering a concentration range.
