MAGNESIUM STEARATE MS PL/FCC(K)

MAGNESIUM STEARATE MS PL/FCC(K)

magnesium stearate (pharmaceutical/food grade)

MAGNESIUM STEARATE MS P, MS P/USP(K), and MS PL/FCC(K) (Mg(C17H34COO)2), are magnesium salts of stearic acid produced via direct fusion reaction between high purity magnesium oxide and vegetable grade (palm based) stearic acid. MS P is the standard grade. MS P/USP(K) is suitable for US Pharmacopeia applications including cosmetics. MS PL/FCC(K) meets European Pharmacopoeia (EP) and USP Food Chemical Codex (FCC) monograph specifications. All grades are GRAS (not produced by precipitation)**. Suitable for a wide range of applications in food, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical applications.

ZINC STEARATE 167A

ZINC STEARATE 167A

zinc stearate aqueous dispersion

Zinc Stearate 167A is an aqueous zinc stearate dispersion, which has application as a release agent in the rubber manufacturing industry – the product is diluted in water by the customer to the desired concentration of solids, producing an effective aqueous anti-tack dip for uncured rubber. Zinc Stearate 167A can be added directly to the dip-tank, and requires no premixing capability, however, for optimum performance it is advised to provide a source of mild physical agitation in the tank. Surface active agents, which are contained in the Zinc Stearate 167A dispersion, ensure that the zinc stearate particles remain wetted in the dip-tank, meaning that less dust is produced in the work environment, in comparison to non-wettable, “float”-type zinc stearates. This product is highly recommended for customers who do not have pre-mixing capabilities, and are seeking a release coating which will solubilize into the rubber compound during the curing process. Zinc Stearate 167A contains no mineralogical additives, and is therefore recommended for customers who want to avoid the use of products which contain crystalline silica.

ZINC STEARATE 201

ZINC STEARATE 201

zinc stearate lubricant

ZINC STEARATE 201, ZINC STEARATE 201V, ZINC STEARATE 201ND, ZINC STEARATE 201V ND, ZINC STEARATE 325, and ZINC STEARATE 325V are fusion reaction (zinc oxide and fatty acid), zinc stearates. 201, 201ND, 325 are made using standard stearic acid and 201V, 201V ND, 325V use vegetable stearic acid. The ND versions are a flake format (unground). The 201 and 325 are powder versions. 325 is ground to a finer particle size.
