This is an aluminum salt of 2-ethylhexoic acid which is manufactured using a special procedure to yield a product that gives very strong gels in fluids used to fracture oil wells and in certain solvents used in the manufacture of inks. – CALFORD G-810 is used in the manufacture of printing inks. It will gel most hydrocarbon solvents, even at room temperature.

CALFORD WB and CALFORD WP are Ethylene bis Stearamide (EBS) waxes (C38H76O2N2) manufactured using vegetable based stearic acid. WB is a bead/prill and WP is a powder.
