SILVET AD 010 presents a very fine particle size grade of non-leafing aluminum flake pigment in an easily handled, low dusting, granular form. It has improved whiteness and brightness over the related SPARKLE SILVET 970-20-J. It is recommended for high coverage solvent-based gravure and flexographic inks, in which it displays optimal opacity and adhesion, particularly on polymer films. This grade is compatible with a wide range of film formers and is dispersible in all common organic solvents, except aliphatic hydrocarbons. SILVET AD Ultra 015 presents a very bright, medium-fine particle size, ultra “silver dollar” grade of non-leafing aluminum flake pigment in an easily handled, low dusting, dry, granular form. The advanced flake geometry and exceptionally narrow particle size distribution offers a “best in class” silver dollar product. It exhibits extremely high opacity for a silver dollar type pigment. SILVEX 113-20-C is a small particle size aluminum pigment dampened with mineral oil to minimize the potential for generating airborne pigment particles. This is an economical grade with cornflake geometry and wide particle size distribution range. Due to its small particle size and broad particle size distribution, this grade is well suited for imparting opacity at low loading levels. This is an economical grade and can be used to create a muted masstone metallic appearance with good opacity at low cost. This grade is not recommended for use with chromatic pigments as it will not produce clean color effects. Although this grade is based on a leafing aluminum pigment, it will not exhibit leafing characteristics in most plastic applications. Fine, regular flake grade; Damp powder; Leafing
