ETERNABRITE Premier 255 is a fine particle size, very bright, silver dollar leafing aluminum pigment with excellent opacity and distinctness of image (D.O.I) for solvent-based general industrial coatings. This product is similar but a more economical alternative to ETERNABRITE Premier 251. This grade is not recommended for use with chromatic pigments, as the leafing effect will mask the colorant. ETERNABRITE Premier 255-PA is a coarse particle size, very brilliant, leafing aluminum pigment based on advanced lenticular flake geometry. It will produce very strong metallic effects in liquid flexographic and gravure ink systems. This grade is produced as a pigment paste carried in isopropyl alcohol but is not treated to inhibit the aluminum-water gassing reaction. ETERNABRITE Premier 255-PA is not recommended for use in aqueous inks unless a careful evaluation of its stability in the final ink formulation produces acceptable results.
