Super fine; Solvent free; High coverage, silver effect; Excellent adhesion; Non-leafing; Passivated for water-based systems – AQUAVEX AD 010 contains super fine particle size, high adhesion, aluminum flake pigment in a low dusting, easily handled form. It combines in one product the easy dispersibility of WD grades and the gassing resistance of AQUA PASTE. It is essentially free of hydrocarbon solvents, but contains a passivating agent to minimize the release of hydrogen gas that can occur when aluminum flake is in contact with water. Surfactants contribute to both the low dusting property and easy dispersibility in water. Suggested applications are water-based inks and some water-based industrial paints.
