Silberline next generation aluminium flake pigment granules for the plastics market: SILVET E2. This product family is carried in polypropylene, and offers global indirect food contact compliance, two-year shelf life, minimal dust generation, and low volatile content. SILVET E2 is compatible with a wide range of polymers used in the plastics industry. It provides excellent flow characteristics that can result in optimal flake orientation in molded parts. SPARKLE SILVET Ultra and Elite E2 pigment granules are extremely bright relative to their particle size and exhibit excellent gloss and distinctness of image that cannot always be realised with other aluminium flake carriers. SPARKLE SILVET Ultra and Elite E2 pigments are excellent choices for automotive OEM, paint replacement, appliances, and any application where high brightness and smooth metallic in-mold finishes are desirable. SPARKLE SILVET Premier 890-20-P is based on an automotive quality small particle size aluminum pigment with lenticular geometry and consists of 80% aluminum pigment and 20% PMMA carrier. Because of the flake geometry and the narrow particle size distribution range, this product will produce a very clean, bright metallic appearance and is well suited for use with transparent pigments or dyes. The PMMA carrier is compatible with a variety of engineering resins but is not recommended for use with polyolefins. SPARKLE SILVET Premier 890-30-E1 is a fine particle size, clean, bright automotive quality aluminum pigment produced in pellet form to reduce the potential for generating airborne particles and to improve ease of handling. The pigment flake has a silver dollar geometry. The particle size distribution range is highly controlled to produce very clean chromatic effects when used with transparent pigments and dyes. This grade will produce very clean metallic effects with medium grain aesthetics when used alone or with other pigments. SPARKLE SILVET Ultra 0011-20-P is an extremely bright, silver dollar aluminum pigment produced in pellet form to reduce the potential for generating airborne particles and to improve ease of handling. In addition, the low shear manufacturing process produces pellets that are easy to disperse by most plastics processing equipment. Due to its high brilliance and controlled particle size, it can be used to produce the appearance of brushed steel or anodized aluminum. When used with transparent pigments or dyes, this grade will produce exceptionally clean, bright metallic colors.
