Evonik’s Crosslinkers business line, marketed as i-Chain, is a global leader in isophorone chemistry and epoxy curing agent technology. The business supplies building blocks used in coatings, adhesives, civil engineering, and high-performance elastomer and composite applications.
VESTANAT EP-B 1042 E is a blocked cycloaliphatic polyisocyanate. It is supplied as a 65 % by wt. solution in n-butyl acetate.
VESTANAT EP-B 1481 ND is a caprolactam blocked cyclo aliphatic polyisocyanate. It is supplied as a 65% b.wt. solution in a naphthalene depleted aromatic ** solvent.
VESTANAT EP*-B 1581 is a 3,5-Dimethylpyrazol-blocked, aliphatic polyisocyanate. It is supplied as a 75 % solution in Hydrosol A 170/Methoxy propyl acetate = 2:1.
VESTANAT EP-CD 1003 is a waterborne polycarbodiimide based on VESTANAT H12MDI.
VESTANAT EP-DS 1205 is a blocked polyisocyanate based on the cycloaliphatic VESTANAT IPDI (Isophoronediisocyanate) emulsified in water without any auxiliary solvents. Combined with water dilutable or in water emulsified OH-terminated resins it is used to formulate one component, heat curing coating systems. The crosslinking occurs above the splitting temperature while the blocking agent evaporates.
