EVONIK I-CHAIN

Catalyst for 1 – Uretdione based polyurethane powder coatings; 2 – Matte hybrid powder coatings – VESTAGON EP-SC 5050 is a catalyst that can be used in combination with 1) blocking agent free polyisocyanate adducts and hydroxyl-functional resins for polyurethanes and 2) matting hardeners based on salts of polycarboxylic acid plus cyclic amidines to enhance cure and gloss stability over the baking range of hybrid powder coatings. The product itself contains a tetraalkylammonium carboxylate adsorbed onto amorphous silica. The free flowing catalyst is delivered in the form of a very fine powder.

VESTAMIN A 139 is a liquid, blocked crosslinker for polyisocyanate resins based on a cycloaliphatic diamine. As supplied the product exhibits a very low reactivity towards isocyanate groups. The crosslinking with polyisocyanate resins occurs under the influence of moisture by releasing the original diamine, which is spontaneously reacting with the isocyanate groups under formation of urea structures.

VESTAMIN A 95 the approx. 50 % aqueous solution of a sodium salt of an amino functional sulfonic acid. It contains a primary and a secondary amino group and combines the properties of an emulsifier and chain extender in the production of aqueous PUR Dispersions. At room temperature, VESTAMIN A 95 is a low viscosity, transparent, slightly yellowish liquid with a slight aminic odour.

VESTANAT B 1358 A is a blocked, cycloaliphatic polyisocyanate. It is supplied as a 63 % solution in Solvesso 100.

VESTANAT B 1358/100 is a solvent-free, blocked polyisocyanate, based on isophorone diisocyanate (VESTANAT IPDI). It is supplied in flakes.
