N-(n-Butyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane – Dynasylan 1189 is a bifunctional silane possessing a reactive secondary amine and hydrolyzable methoxysilyl groups. The dual nature of its reactivity allows Dynasylan 1189 to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, and elastomers) thus functioning as an adhesion promoter or as a surface modifier and can be used for the chemical modification of substances. Dynasylan 1189 is a colorless to slight yellowish liquid with a light amine-like odor which is, for example, soluble in alcohols, and aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.

N-(2-aminoethyl)-3-aminopropylmethyldimethoxysilane – Dynasylan 1401 is a bifunctional organosilane possessing reactive amino groups and hydrolyzable inorganic methoxysilyl groups. The dual nature of its reactivity allows Dynasylan 1401 to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, and elastomers), thus functioning as an adhesion promoter, surface modifier, and as a reactant for product modification. Dynasylan 1401 is a clear yellow liquid with an amine-like odor. It is soluble in alcohols and aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.

3-Aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane – Dynasylan 1505 is an amino-functional silane which acts as an adhesion promoter between inorganic materials (for example glass, metals, and fillers) and organic polymers (thermosets, thermoplastics, and elastomers) and as a surface modifier. Dynasylan 1505 is a slightly yellowish liquid with an amine-like odor which is soluble in alcohols and aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.

3-Ureidopropyltriethoxysilane, 50% solution in methanol, ethylcarbamate-free, contains no carcinogenic by-products – Dynasylan 2201 EQ is a bifunctional organosilane possessing a reactive organic ureido group and a hydrolyzable inorganic triethoxysilyl group. The dual nature of its reactivity allows Dynasylan 2201 EQ to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers), thus functioning as an adhesion promoter and as a surface modifier. Dynasylan 2201 EQ is a 50% solution of silane in methanol, is a colorless liquid with an alcohol-like odor and is soluble in alcohols, ketones, esters, or aromatic hydrocarbons. Due to novel patented process, Dynasylan 2201 EQ is the first ureidofunctional silane, which contains no carcinogenic by-products, e.g. ethylcarbamate. Dynasylan 2201 EQ is therefore not classified as “carcinogenic, class 2”.

Polyethyleneglycol-functional alkoxysilane – Dynasylan 4148 is a ready-for-use silane and is soluble in water and most organic solvents. Contrary to most other organofunctional silanes, Dynasylan 4148 features chemical polarity yet remaining chemically not reactive. Such a product is used as a hydrophilic compatibilizer rather than a covalent adhesion promoter.
