Dynasylan SILBOND 40

Dynasylan SILBOND 40

ethyl polysilicate (partially hydrolyzed TEOS) silica binder

Ethyl polysilicates – Dynasylan SILBOND 40 is a clear, low-viscosity liquid with a minimum silica content of 40.0% (the Si content of Dynasylan SILBOND 40 is calculated as SiO2). Dynasylan SILBOND 40 is an ethyl polysilicate that is the partially hydrolyzed product of tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS). The partial hydrolysis of TEOS (Si[OEt]4) results in the conversion of ethoxy groups to hydroxyl groups forming silanols. Subsequent condensation of silanols will form siloxane bonds (-Si-O-Si-O-) and eventually cause the material to gel.

Dynasylan SILBOND 40-HF

Dynasylan SILBOND 40-HF

higher-flashpoint ethyl polysilicate (partially hydrolyzed TEOS) silica binder

Ethyl polysilicates – higher flashpoint – Dynasylan SILBOND 40-HF is a clear, low-viscosity liquid with a minimum silica content of 40.0% (the Si content of Dynasylan SILBOND 40-HF is calculated as SiO2) and a flash point above 100° F (38° C), classifying it as a combustible liquid. This product is available to customers requiring a higher flashpoint than Dynasylan SILBOND 40. Dynasylan SILBOND 40-HF is an ethyl polysilicate that is the partially hydrolyzed product of tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS). The partial hydrolysis of TEOS (Si[OEt]4) results in the conversion of ethoxy groups to hydroxyl groups forming silanols. Subsequent condensation of silanols will form siloxane bonds (-Si-O-Si-O-) and eventually cause the material to gel.

Dynasylan SILBOND Condensed

Dynasylan SILBOND Condensed

tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) silica binder

Tetraethyl orthosilicate – Dynasylan SILBOND Condensed is a clear, low-viscosity liquid with a minimum silica content of 28.0% (the Si content of Dynasylan SILBOND Condensed is calculated as SiO2). Dynasylan SILBOND Condensed is tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS; Si[OEt]4), and is used as a raw material for acid- or alkali-catalyzed hydrolysis and subsequent condensation reactions, commonly known as the sol-gel process. The gelation rate is dependent upon the concentration of water and the pH.

Dynasylan SILBOND EG

Dynasylan SILBOND EG

high-purity electronic-grade tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS)

Tetraethyl orthosilicate 99.80% – Dynasylan SILBOND EG (electronic grade) is a clear, high-monomer (99.80%), low-water-content ethyl silicate product targeted for use in the electronics industry. Dynasylan SILBOND EG is tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS), and is an excellent source of high-purity silica for sol-gel processes, electronics, coatings, and other applications that require high-purity.

Dynasylan SILBOND H-18IC

Dynasylan SILBOND H-18IC

pre-hydrolyzed ethyl polysilicate investment-casting silica binder (isopropanol-based)

Ethyl polysilicates – Dynasylan SILBOND H-18IC is a clear, low-viscosity pre-hydrolyzed ethyl polysilicate binder that has been designed for use in precision investment casting applications. The silica content (as SiO2) ranges from 18.0% to 19.0%. This binder contains ispropyl alcohol, which makes it well suited for applications in which slower cure is desired.
