Aqueous emulsion for the water repellent treatment of mineral porous materials, especially facades. Essentially VOC free.

Protectosil WS 610 is a high performance water repellent emulsion for masonry – Protectosil WS 610 is an organofunctional siloxane based waterborne emulsion with almost no volatile organic components (VOC). Protectosil WS 610 chemically bonds with silica to form a permanent attachment of water repellent molecules while also providing an excellent beading effect on the surface. Protectosil WS 610 is supplied as a 50 % water-borne emulsion.

Oligomeric propyl siliconate/silicate concentrate as water-repellent and consolidant for mineral substrates – Clear, colourless to slightly yellowish liquid; approx. 55% active ingredient; water based, VOC free; pH >13; non-flammable

N-Vinylbenzyl-N-aminoethyl-3-aminopropylsilane, hydrochloride, Silane concentration: 42% of active ingredient – VPS 1178 is a cationic monomeric aminofunctional silane possessing hydrolyzable inorganic methoxysilyl groups. The dual nature of its reactivity allows VPS 1178 to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers), thus functioning as an adhesion promoter and as a surface modifier. VPS 1178 is a dark yellow to brown liquid. VPS 1178 contains 42% active ingredient and about 58% of methanol. To improve the solubility of VPS 1178 in water organic or mineralic acid can be used as catalyst.
