HIgh performance Kolon’s TACKifier C9 Resins – HIKOTACK P-120HS is pale yellow thermoplastic resin obtained from polymerizing unsaturated aromatic olefins and diolefins derived from the process of thermal cracking of naphtha. This grade has relatively higher softening point than HIKOTACK P-120, and is mainly used as vehicles for paint and ink products, water repellent agent, concrete curing agent, and binder for asphalt.

HIgh performance Kolon’s TACKifier C9 Resins – HIKOTACK P-120P is pale yellow thermoplastic resin obtained from polymerizing unsaturated aromatic olefins and diolefins derived from the process of thermal cracking of naphtha. This grade especially shows very good compatibility with polar polymer such as epoxy resin, alkyd resin, and ethylene vinyl acetate(EVA) by modification of phenolic monomer. The major usages are vehicles in the coating industry and tackifier for Ethylene Vinyl Acetate(EVA) based hot melt adhesive(HMA).

The major usages are vehicles for printing ink. This grade especially shows superior compatibility with rosin modified phenolic resin, so it can be used with phenolic resin in off-set ink to decrease set time and to increase gloss. This grade also can be used as binder for color asphalt and tackifier for EVA based hot melt adhesive(HMA).
