Lord 7411 adhesive is formulated blue for easy identification on light colored extruded tubing as well as on reinforcement yarns. Lord 7411 adhesive is 100% solids; this eliminates the chance of entrapping solvents and blistering the extruded jacket. It also eliminates the need for handling solvent fumes. This single pack adhesive has good hydrolytic stability and an extended work time. It also eliminates the need for mix/meter/dispense equipment. Lord 7411 adhesive at 100% solids or diluted with solvent to 60% TSC is an excellent adhesive for bonding polyester reinforcement to an extruded Hytrel core. At 100% solids, Lord 7411 adhesive offers excellent adhesion between Hytrel or TPU (thermoplastic urethane) and polyester or Kevlar reinforcement. For adhesion between polyester or Kevlar and a nylon 11 core, a solution of Lord 7411 adhesive works best. When bonding Hytrel and polyester reinforcement, peel values down the length of the hose equal 3.5 – 5.3 kN/m (20 – 30 pli).

Lord 7420 is a flexible, polyether-based, moisture-cure urethane adhesive. It has been successful in bonding Hytrel, chlorinated polyethylene (CPE), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), Nylon 11 and other thermoplastics to fiber reinforcements such as polyester and Kevlar, during construction of high-pressure hose.

Lord CA6910 adhesive is used to bond plastic and elastomeric materials where high resistance to chlorosis and blooming is important.

Lord CA8000 is a plastic bonding, colorless, high-elasticity cyanoacrylate adhesive. This versatile adhesive is used to bond dissimilar materials, such as plastic to metal and plastic to rubber. Lord cyanoacrylate adhesive will qualify for Mil-A-46050C Type II, Class 1 approval and CID-A-A 3097 Type II, Class 1 approval.

Lord CA8400 adhesive is used to bond plastic and elastomeric materials. Lord CA8400 adhesive provides excellent drop control with the ability to bridge small tolerances. It is especially well-suited for bonding most porous substrates, such as foam rubber. Lord CA8400 qualifies for Mil-A-46050C Type II, Class 2 and CID A-A 3097, Type II, Class 2 approval.
