Patox Manganese 8%WB is a manganese-based primary drier (drying initiator) for waterborne alkyd-based paints, coatings, and inks. Manganese is weaker than cobalt but its efficacy can be enhanced with chelating agents; it can discolour white paints and also gives some through-drying.

PATOX 102 is (Co/Zn/Zr) water dispersible drying catalyst for use in waterborne, air-drying paints. PATOX 102 is based on metal carboxylates, thus offering catalytic properties similar to the effect of the traditionally used driers in solvent borne air-drying paints; however, the products excel in waterborne paints in offering superior compatibility, workability, and performance properties.

PATOX 103 is (Co/Ba/Zr) water dispersible drying catalyst for use in waterborne, air-drying paints. PATOX WB 2563 is an active, APEO free drier for use in water-reducible oxidatively drying coatings. PATOX WB 2563 is used as replacement for Cobalt driers in order to meet requirements for low toxicity and light color.
