Patcham Zirconium Neo 18% In BD is a unique liquid, extremely low VOC Zirconium compound. Main use is as catalyst in air-drying paints -for this purpose also referred to as drier or siccative- or similar unsaturated resin systems. It is a very efficient auxiliary drier, used in conjunction with Cobalt and other auxiliary driers to boost up the performance of the paints and varnishes. It is the most useful drier for water resistant finishes. It improves the adhesion and hardness of the film because it is an active cross-linking agent. Zirconium octoate is the best replacement of Lead drier when used with the combination with Calcium or cerium driers.
