The liquid carrier allows easy incorporation and processing; SONGSORB CS 945 protects cured sealants from surface defects such as cracking and chalking and ensures the retention of mechanical properties; SONGSORB CS 945 provides strong synergies with UV absorbers (UVA) to significantly improve weathering resistance and reduce color change; SONGSORB CS 945 exhibits low volatility and excellent resistance to migration.

SONGSORB CS AQ01 is a liquid, hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) for high performance coating applications. Its major features and applications are:; Water miscible liquid HALS especially suitable for aqueous coatings, adhesives, and sealants.; Its liquid nature further eases incorporation into coating, adhesive or sealant systems based on silane-modified polymer (SMP).; When used alone or in combination with UV-absorbers it significantly extends coating lifetimes, preventing defects such as cracking and loss of gloss in outdoor applications.; Less toxic to aquatic life than many traditional HALS used in coatings does not trigger environmental hazard classification or requirements for special labeling under EU norms and can be used for EU Ecolabel for Indoor and Outdoor Paints.; Reduces discoloration of wood-plastic composites during outdoor weathering when used as a pretreatment.; Can be co-polymerized into PUR systems to minimize VOC or fogging related issues.

SONGSORB CS B5050 is a synergistic combination of a selected benzotriazole based UV absorber and a HALS. Its major features and applications are:; Protection against surface defects such as gloss reduction, cracking, blistering, delamination, and color change of coatings and sealants.; Broad UV absorbance for a wide range of coatings for wood, plastics, and metal.; Designed to fulfill high value-in-use and durability requirements. It is recommended especially for exterior water- and solvent-based applications in industrial and decorative clear coatings with a layer thickness from 30 – 60 μm.; The high thermal stability and permanence makes it suitable for coatings exposed to high bake temperatures and extreme environmental conditions.; Good miscibility in concentrations higher than 50% with the most commonly used paint solvents.; The water solubility is less than 0.01% and the use of SONGSORB CS B5050 in waterborne coatings might require its predilution in a water miscible co-solvent.

It is recommended especially for exterior water- and solvent-based coatings; The non-basic character of the used NOR-HALS prevents possible interactions with acidic paint ingredients such as catalysts, biocides, and pigments; The synergistic combination imparts superior coating protection against gloss reduction, cracking, color change, blistering, and color change; Good miscibility in concentrations higher than 50% with the most commonly used solvents; full substrate protection.
