SONGSORB CS 292EP is a liquid hindered amine light stabilizer for high performance coating, adhesives and sealant applications. Its major features and applications are:; SONGSORB CS 292EP is an excellent liquid hindered amine light stabilizer developed for coatings. The product can significantly extend the lifetime of the products by minimizing cracking and loss of gloss.; SONGSORB CS 292EP is recommended for automotive coatings, industrial coatings, radiation curable coatings, and wood stains.; The performance of SONGSORB CS 292EP is enhanced in combination with specific UV absorbers: their synergistic combination provides excellent protection against blistering, cracking, color change and gloss reduction.; SONGSORB CS 292EP is miscible to more than 50% with the most commonly used paint solvents. Dispersion in waterborne coatings is facilitated by dilution with water miscible solvent.; Interactions of SONGSORB CS 292EP with acidic paint ingredients (acid catalyzed) should be evaluated.

SONGSORB CS 3035 is a UV absorber of the cyanoacrylate type for coating, adhesive, and sealant applications. Its major features and applications are:; High effective to improve the light stability of organic systems included Styrenic polymers (ABS, ASA, HIPS, TPE’s), PVC, Polyesters, Polyamides, Polyurethanes, and Acrylics.; Excellent compatibility with plastics, adhesives and coating substrates as a light stabilizer.; Efficient in transparent or light-colored substrates.; Suitable for use in combination with optical brighteners.; Non-discoloring and non-interacting with reactive monomers and metal based polymerization catalysts.

SONGSORB CS 312 is a UV absorber of oxanilide type for coating applications. Its major features and applications are: Strong UV absorption at low wavelengths imparting light stability in a broad range of plastics and coating applications (powder coating and solvent-borne coatings for automotive, industrial and architectural applications); SONGSORB CS 312 shows low volatility and excellent compatibility with polar substrates; Even in alkaline environments and in presence of metal catalyst residues SONGSORB CS 312 is less dissolving than conventional UV absorbers; Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, and HALS and optical brighteners without interference to optimize performance especially during outdoor weathering; SONGSORB CS 312 is also applicable when a low cost color upon additive incorporation is required.

SONGSORB CS 326 is a UV absorber of the benzotriazole type for high performance coating, adhesive, and sealant applications. Its major features and applications are:; SONGSORB CS 326 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 300~400 nm region and has a high degree of photostability. Photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy.; Due to its high dissociation constant SONGSORB CS 326 is less affected by alkalinity, is less likely to discolor with metals, and has less effect on metal driers and metal catalysts.; Thus SONGSORB CS 326 does not form colored complexes with metallic salts which makes it particularly useful as stabilizer during the curing process of polyester resins.; Different loading to be evaluated case by case in the event of special resins (e.g. chlorinated, flame retardant polyester resins).; Can be used in combination with phenolic antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance of sealants based on silane modified polymers (SMP).; For Water-based systems, SONGSORB CS 326 can be used in its water-based dispersion form, SONGSORB CS 326 WB (consult corresponding TDS for further information).

SONGSORB CS 328 is a UV absorber of the benzotriazole type for high performance coating, adhesive and applications. Its major features and applications are:; SONGSORB CS 328 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 290~400 nm region and has a high degree of photostability. The photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy.; Features strong UV absorption, low initial color, good solubility and moderately low volatility.; Its excellent compatibility makes SONGSORB CS 328 suitable for use in applications like automotive coatings, industrial coatings and wood stains or do-it-yourself paints.; SONGSORB CS 328 is mainly recommended for use in ambient and low temperature cured system.; Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor application protecting against gloss reduction, cracking, color change, blistering.
