SONGSORB CS 384-2 is a liquid UV absorber of the benzotriazole type for high performance coating, adhesive, and sealant applications. Its major features and applications are: SONGSORB CS 384-2 has been specifically designed to meet the high performance and durability requirements of automotive coatings and high quality finishes, with very efficient protection against UV of base coat or substrate, both wood and plastics; Its high thermal and environmental stability makes it suitable for coatings exposed to high bake cycles and/or extreme environmental conditions; Thanks to the liquid form SONGSORB CS 384-2 can be incorporated into water borne systems or diluted in most common solvents; It can be used in combination with HALS such as SONGSORB CS 292 or SONGSORB CS AQ01 to achieve the synergistic effects impart superior coating protection against gloss reduction, cracking, blistering, delamination, and color change.

SONGSORB CS 400 / SONGSORB CS 400 MPA is a liquid UV absorber triazine in a 15% dilution solvent for high performance coating, adhesive, and sealant applications. Its major features and applications are:; It is a liquid triazine UV absorber with excellent performance in coatings derived from its high thermal and photo stability and hydroxy functionality (minimal migration).; It is the appropriate UVA to meet the high performance and durability requirements of waterborne, solvent and 100% solids automotive and industrial finishes.; Thanks to its excellent stability it is the choice for all coatings for use in combination with photo initiators to provide highly durable UV clear coats.; It is designed to be an interaction-free UV absorber in amine and/or metal catalyzed coating systems and coatings applied on basecoats with such catalysts.; It shows synergies and enhanced performances when used in combination with HALS such as SONGSORB CS 123, SONGSORB CS 5100, or SONGSORB CS 292. Durability of clear coats is improved.; For easy incorporation into water borne systems please use its water base emulsion form, SONGSORB CS 400 WB specifically developed for aqueous systems. SONGSORB CS 405 is a solid UV absorber of the triazine type for high performance coating, adhesive, and sealant applications. Its major features and applications are: Automotive clear coats or powder clear coats, in general powder coatings for plastics and wood; High performance industrial coatings and high performance UV curing systems, thanks to its blue-shifted absorption properties; Can be used in combination with photo initiators to provide highly durable UV clear coats; Good photostability so it can be used in long-term high temperature cured coatings; Can be used in combination with a HALS such as SONGSORB CS 144 or SONGSORB CS 292 or SONGSORB CS 5100; Synergistic combinations impart better protection against gloss reduction, cracking, blistering, delamination, and color change.

SONGSORB CS 460 is a solid UV absorber showing an extremely high extinction coefficient. Main applications are Industrial Coatings, Adhesives, Inks applications like OPVs and Digital printing.; Due to the high extinction SONGSORB CS460 is providing outstanding protection to coatings and light sensitive substrates and offers excellent photo-permanence.; SONGSORB CS 460 has a relatively low self-color and provides high absorption in the UV-A region, allowing photoprotection of thin films. It is therefore especially suited for use in silver halide photographic papers or overprint varnishes.; It is as well suitable for wood stains and do-it-yourself paints and related applications.; The amount of SONGSORB CS 460 required for an optimum performance needs to be determined with tests covering several concentration ranges.; SONGSORB CS 460 can be used in combination with other UVA and HALS to achieve the ideal absorption coverage as well as the best synergistic effects.
