PIGMENT YELLOW 74 – Hansa Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70 is a yellow pigment with good fastness to light and weathering for air-drying paints. Very good hiding power as an organic pigment. As it has good rheological properties, it can be used even at high pigment concentrations (about 20 % relative to solid binder) without any effect on gloss. Eminently suitable for the production of intense opaque yellow shades for lead-free or low-lead paints. Not suitable for stoving enamels because of the high risk of blooming

PIGMENT YELLOW 74 – Hansa Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70 is a green shade, highly opaque monoazo pigment with good light- and weather fastness properties. Recommended for highly opaque paste- and liquid printing inks.

PIGMENT YELLOW 74 – Hansa Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70-S is a more recrystallization-stable opaque Pigment Yellow 74. It is coloristically very close to the well-known Hansa Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70. Hansa Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70-S is recommended for use in decorative alkyd paints, pigment preparations, and air-drying industrial paints. The improved recrystallization stability overcomes the well-known processing problems associated with this pigment class. Dispersions of Hansa Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70-S are color-stable and consistent in tinctorial strength. Fastness properties such as light and weathering fastness match those of Hansa Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70.

PIGMENT YELLOW 74 – Hansa Brilliant Yellow 2GX 72-S is a surface-modified version of our well-known Hansa Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70-S. It is coloristically and performance-wise very close to the well-known Hansa Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70-S. Through the pigment’s modification, optimum tinting strength can be achieved in relatively short time using a dissolver and suitable dispersing agents in waterborne systems. The simplified dispersion process that does not include a bead mill results in a cost efficient manufacturing of pigment dispersions.

PIGMENT YELLOW 73 – Hansa Brilliant Yellow 4GX is a green shade monoazo pigment. The shade is similar to Pigment Yellow 1 but with higher transparency and very good light fastness properties. Yellow pigment for air-drying paints. Of particular importance is its stability to recrystallization which is excellent compared with other Hansa Yellow grades and makes it eminently suitable for the production of tinting colors for emulsion paints and air-drying synthetic resin paints. Because of the high risk of blooming it is not suitable for stoving enamels.
