HYDROUS ALUMINUM SILICATE – BURGESS NO. 20 is a fine particle size, medium brightness hydrous kaolin clay. Burgess NO. 20 is the neutral pH version of Burgess NO. 60. BURGESS NO. 20 is used in jacketing layer of wire and cable insulation compounds, rubber roll covers, polishing compounds, and concrete curing compounds.

HYDROUS ALUMINUM SILICATE – BURGESS NO. 20SD is a fine particle size, medium brightness hydrous kaolin clay used in water based coatings and ink end uses which employ bead mill dispersion. BURGESS NO. 20SD is supplied in densified bead form having a bulk density of ~50 lb./ft3 (800kg/m3).

HYDROUS ALUMINUM SILICATE – BURGESS NO. 27 is an ultra fine particle size, medium brightness hydrous kaolin clay. BURGESS NO. 27 is the beaded (high bulk density) version of Burgess No. 97 and is used as an extender in semigloss, satin, and gloss paints.

HYDROUS ALUMINUM SILICATE – BURGESS NO. 28 is an ultra fine particle size, higher brightness hydrous kaolin clay. BURGESS NO. 28 is the beaded (high bulk density) version of Burgess No. 98 and is used extensively in water based satin and semigloss coating systems to extend TiO2 while maintaining tint strength and gloss.

CALCINED ALUMINUM SILICATE – BURGESS No. 30 is a partially calcined clay used extensively in PVC compounds to improve insulation resistance. BURGESS No. 30 exhibits excellent dispersion and color uniformity.
