Premium sand – CARBO Northern White is a premium Northern White monocrystalline sand with exceptionally round grains, high purity, and superior quality, available in grain size distributions 20/40, 30/50, 40/70, and 100 mesh. High-transport, ultra low-density ceramic proppant technology – CARBOAIR high-transport, ultra low-density ceramic proppant technology has been developed primarily to increase production and EUR from slickwater fracturing operations. The technology enables operators to avoid the introduction of gel into their fracs while improving reservoir contact and fracture conductivity. Features: ultra low-density ceramic proppant with chemically-engineered internal porosity; apparent specific gravity of 2.0, approximately 25% lower than sand, resin-coated sand (RCS), or low-density ceramic (LDC); enhanced transport characteristics with 30%-65% slower settling rates compared to sand or RCS; meets or exceeds the conductivity, strength, and durability of sand and RCS; available in 30/50 and 40/70 mesh sizes. Benefits: exceptional proppant transport in slickwater and low gel fracturing fluids; increases effective fracture length and fracture height to improve reservoir contact; lower total mass of proppant required to prop the same fracture volume as conventional proppant; reduces water consumption and flowback treatment costs in equal volume frac designs; higher production and EUR while lowering finding and development cost per BOE.

High-performance ceramic media – CARBOBEAD is a consistent, high-quality, engineered ceramic media available in a range of sizes and densities (low, intermediate and high) for a wide variety of industrial applications. Features: consistent, high-quality, engineered ceramic media; exceptional roundness and sphericity; superior strength and durability; chemically inert, non-hazardous, and contains no quartz silica. Benefits: cost-effective alternative to sand and competing ceramic media; available in a range of sizes and densities to meet the needs of a wide variety of industrial applications such as water filtration, blasting, peening, heat transfer, catalyst support, and sport turf fill.

Resin-coated low-density, ultra high-performance ceramic proppant – The higher-strength CARBOBOND KRYPTOSPHERE LD resin-coated low-density, ultra high-performance ceramic proppant is effective at greater well depths, temperatures, and stresses than any comparable ceramic proppant. It requires 20% less proppant by weight than any resin-coated intermediate-density ceramic proppant and 30% less than any resin-coated bauxite ceramic proppant. It is designed with high cyclic loading tolerance, and the bonded proppant pack reduces the effective stresses encountered at deeper depths. Features: KRYPTOSPHERE LD provides an ultraconductive, low-density proppant substrate; specially formulated for maximum compatibility with complicated frac fluids used in deeper wells; bonded proppant pack reduces effective stress on proppant; high cyclic loading tolerance; resin coating completely encapsulates substrate; bonds in the fracture with temperature and closure.
