CARBONRT

tracer-integrated ceramic proppant

Inert tracer technology for ceramic completed wells – CARBONRT inert tracer technology enables the high-definition evaluation of fractures in ceramic completed wells to help optimize completion efficiency, production, and field development. It is a proppant manufactured with a proprietary tracer uniformly distributed throughout each proppant grain, enabling direct measurement of near-wellbore proppant location and quantity. Features: inert, permanent tracer that is safe and environmentally friendly-no special equipment, handling, permits, or licenses required; uniform distribution of tracer within each proppant grain (not a coating), can be manufactured into any CARBO ceramic proppant; detected using standard neutron logging tools run at standard speeds. Benefits: cost-effective fracture evaluation in vertical and horizontal ceramic completed wells; identifies proppant coverage (stimulated interval) and propped fracture height; tracks the amount of proppant near the wellbore to understand near-wellbore connectivity and perforation efficiency; enables measurements to enhance fracture simulation models, treatment designs, and completion efficiency.

CARBONRT GP

tracer-integrated ceramic proppant

Inert tracer technology for gravel pack applications – CARBONRT GP inert tracer technology for gravel pack applications has been developed to enable a safe, accurate, and cost-effective evaluation of gravel pack completed wells. It is a ceramic proppant manufactured with a proprietary tracer uniformly distributed throughout each proppant grain, used in cased-hole and open-hole completions in both vertical and horizontal wells to confirm productive-zone coverage, assure pack quality, and identify fines and sand migration. Features: inert, permanent tracer that is safe and environmentally friendly-no special equipment, handling, permits, or licenses required; uniform distribution of tracer within each proppant grain (not a coating); detected using pulsed neutron logging tools run at standard speeds. Benefits: safe, accurate, and cost-effective gravel pack evaluation in cased-hole and open-hole completions in horizontal or vertical wells; detect the top of the gravel pack to evaluate whether all productive zones have been covered; evaluate proppant pack quality and percent coverage in the near-wellbore region; identify voids or channels in the pack that can lead to impaired production through ingress of fines and sand from the formation.

CARBONRT ULTRA

CARBONRT ULTRA

tracer-integrated ceramic proppant

Inert tracer technology for sand completed wells – CARBONRT ULTRA inert tracer technology has been developed to enable the cost-effective fracture evaluation of sand completed wells to help optimize completion efficiency, production, and field development. It is a proppant manufactured with a variant of the unique tracer technology specifically engineered for sand completed wells, blended at an engineered ratio with the sand to provide effective detection of the traceable proppant within the non-traceable sand. Features: inert, permanent tracer that is safe and environmentally friendly-no special equipment, handling, permits, or licenses required; tracer engineered for effective detection when blended with sand; uniform distribution of tracer within each proppant grain (not a coating); detected using standard neutron logging tools run at standard speeds. Benefits: cost-effective fracture evaluation in vertical and horizontal sand completed wells; identifies proppant coverage (stimulated interval) and propped fracture height; tracks the amount of proppant near the wellbore to understand near-wellbore connectivity and perforation efficiency; enables measurements to enhance fracture simulation models, treatment designs, and completion efficiency.

CARBOTAG

CARBOTAG

taggant-marked ceramic proppant

Chemically-tagged traceable technology – CARBOTAG is a suite of more than 20 unique chemical markers (taggants) that can be added to any CARBO proppant during manufacturing, allowing an operator to identify the precise well or fracture stage that flows back proppant. The taggants are not radioactive; they are naturally occurring chemical markers blended into the ceramic ore, so the identifiers are part of the ceramic pellet and do not degrade over time. They are added in trace concentrations and do not alter the physical properties of the proppant, yet can be easily identified with routine chemical analyses such as XRF and ICP. Features: non-radioactive taggant that can be added to any CARBO proppant during manufacturing; more than 20 taggants available; upon proppant flowback the taggant is easily identified with routine analysis; taggants do not degrade over time; does not alter the physical properties or conductivity of the proppant.
