Non-leafing fine particle size aluminium pigment in a non-ionic surfactant carrier; Bright silver dollar with good opacity; Passivated for use in water-based systems; APEO/NPEO free; Good adhesion, “split proofness” – AQUAVEX Plus PREMIER 011 is a fine particle size “silver dollar” pigment supplied in a pellet form. Resistance to tape testing/”split proofness” is dependent on the ink formulation. The pigment is passivated to resist aqueous attack and is combined with non-ionic surfactant (alcohol ethoxylate) to give pellets having the properties of low dusting and easy dispersibility in water. It exhibits good opacity, resulting in a lower pigment usage. Recommended applications are water-based inks.
