ITAMIN U38 is a urea / formaldehyde resin etherified with isobutyl alcohol used for both internal and external Can Coatings sector (raw materials are FDA 175.300 approved); it is used with acid-catalyzed paint products and oven-baked enamels for industry and ACE machinery. The main characteristics of ITAMIN U 38 are excellent compatibility with epoxy resins and high resistance to sterilization. ITAMIN U 38 is compatible with epoxy resins and saturated polyesters and soluble in alcohols, acetates, and ketones. However, given the large number of possible partners, it is advisable to carry out preliminary tests.
