SYNTEVEN 918 IT is an isophthalic/NPG unsaturated polyester resin dissolved in styrene with high reactivity, neutral with medium-low viscosity, ideal for the composite sector where high chemical and hydrolysis resistance is required together with atmospheric agents, very low porosity, and high resistance to hydrolysis. SYNTEVEN 918 IT shows characteristics of thermal stability, chemical resistance and ability and good processability; applications include the markets in Transportation (large body parts for automobiles, trucks, trailers, buses), Marine (small and large boat hulls and other marine equipment), Construction (panels, bathtubs, and showers), Home Appliances etc. SYNTEVEN 918 IT is indicated for the production of specific industrial uses such as compounds and fiber-reinforced plastics and fiber-reinforced Gel-coats.

SYNTEVEN G 650/75 HPMA is a styrene-free unsaturated polyester resin, diluted in Hydroxypropylmethacrylate (HPMA) formulated for the production of “direct gloss” paints for the wood and furniture sector. The exceptional reactivity characteristics of SYNTEVEN G 650/75 HPMA allow to obtain the best results both with UV photopolymerization and in REDOX systems, free from Styrene. SYNTEVEN G 650/75 HPMA is compatible with allyl unsaturated polyesters, with acrylic monomers and oligomers; with nitrocellulose; it also has good compatibility with the C.A.B. although it is advisable to check the stability of the paint on a case-by-case basis. SYNTEVEN G 650/75 HPMA is soluble in aromatic solvents, acetates, ketones, acrylic and methacrylic monomers. It is not soluble in aliphatic and alcoholic solvents. However, to avoid unwanted phenomena of incompatibility it is advisable to carry out preliminary tests.

SYNTEVEN P3 GA-707 is an unsaturated polyester resin of the “direct glossy” type, very hard and reactive that is used as a binder for the formulation of transparent and pigmented top coat paints for the wood and furniture industry. These formulations harden both with the traditional redox methods normally used for polyester resins (cobalt salts / methylethylketone or cyclohexanone peroxides) and by U.V. catalysis. By applying paints and finishes based on SYNTEVEN P3 GA-707, primers and / or glossy or satin finishes with high surface hardness, good sanding, and greening retention can be obtained.

SYNTEVEN UL 959 GA-700 is a reactive, durable, allyl unsaturated polyester resin of the direct gloss type. SYNTEVEN UL 959 GA-700 is used as a binder for the prescription of valuable direct gloss varnishes both transparent and pigmented, for the wood and furniture industry. Furthermore, formulations harden with the methods normally used for polyester resins (cobalt salts/methylethyl ketone or cyclohexanone peroxides) or by means of U.V. radiations. SYNTEVEN UL 959 GA-700 ensures high thickness films with high surface hardness and scratch resistance, emission with good elasticity and light fastness and gloss retention.

SYNTEVEN UL 966 GA-626 is a very reactive direct gloss type unsaturated polyester resin dissolved in styrene for U.V. crosslinked systems. SYNTEVEN UL 966 GA-626 is used as a polymer in the formulation of filling fillers and primers and both transparent and pigmented paints for the wood and furniture industry. SYNTEVEN UL 966 GA-626 ensures excellent transparency associated with good elasticity and surface hardness and high resistance to scratching. SYNTEVEN UL 966 GA-626 is soluble in esters and ketones and limitedly soluble in aromatic solvents such as toluene and xylene. However, to avoid unexpected incompatibility phenomena, it is advisable to carry out preliminary tests.
