ITALESTER 251 is an oil-free saturated polyester, complies with FDA § 175.300 without restriction for alcoholic goods, used for interior can coatings, in combination with phenolic resins. It has comparable results to conventional epoxy/phenolic systems. In this case, the system obtained is BADGE or BISPHENOL A free. ITALESTER 251 can be used with benzoguanamine resins (ITAMIN BG series) for exterior can coatings systems. ITALESTER 251 is thinned in Naphtha Solvent 150 ND and Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether (DPM).

ITALESTER 300 is an isophtalic saturated polyester resin for stoving enamels for Industry and coil coatings. Its main characteristics are: – outstanding chemical resistance; – hardness; – good flexibility; – high coverage. ITALESTER 300 is thinned in Solvent Naphtha 150/Butilglycol (5/1)

SYNCRYL 406/60 TPGDA is a styrene-free polyester resin modified with acrylic monomer designed for U.V. paints. and Electron Beam, both for wood and paper; furthermore, adequately mixed with other oligomers and monomers, it is also used for systems for both OPV flexographic and Off-set ink sectors. A recommended use of SYNCRYL 406/60 TPGDA is for roller primers or for application with a veiling machine, to be dried with Electron Beam. Its cross-linking occurs after exposure to UV, thus guaranteeing low emission and a low level of residual odor while also reducing the risk of exudation of the film. The ideal photoinitiator mix for SYNCRYL 406/60 TPGDA consists of Benzophenone, acrylate amine, BDK, and α-hydroxyketone SYNCRYL 406/60 TPGDA is compatible with the SYNCRYL series, and with all the majority of the most popular acrylic monomers, in every ratio. However, we recommend checking compatibility and solubility with preliminary tests.

SYNCRYL 413 is an unsaturated polyester, with direct gloss, dissolved in DPGDA, suitable for the preparation of U.V. drying paints for wood. The excellent wetting power of the wood and the excellent distension of the applied film are characteristics appreciated in the roller application of U.V. primers, both with low and high filler content. The composition of the unsaturated polyester allows to have a complete U.V. drying. With SYNCRYL 413 it is also possible to prepare U.V. finishing, both glossy and matt, adapting the formula with appropriate solvents, monomers, and photoinitiators. SYNCRYL 413 is compatible with the acrylic resins of the SYNCRYL series, with unsaturated polyesters, and with acrylic monomers; with C.A.B. and nitrocellulose, compatibility must be checked on a case-by-case basis. SYNCRYL 413 is soluble in acetates, ketones, acrylic monomers; it is partially soluble in aromatic solvents; it is insoluble aliphatic insolvents and alcohols. However, it is recommended to verify compatibility and solubility with preliminary tests.

SYNTEVEN 105 is a monomer free unsaturated polyester resin, low viscose, is suitable as binder in the manufacturing of pigment pastes.
