SYNCRYL 413 is an unsaturated polyester, with direct gloss, dissolved in DPGDA, suitable for the preparation of U.V. drying paints for wood. The excellent wetting power of the wood and the excellent distension of the applied film are characteristics appreciated in the roller application of U.V. primers, both with low and high filler content. The composition of the unsaturated polyester allows to have a complete U.V. drying. With SYNCRYL 413 it is also possible to prepare U.V. finishing, both glossy and matt, adapting the formula with appropriate solvents, monomers, and photoinitiators. SYNCRYL 413 is compatible with the acrylic resins of the SYNCRYL series, with unsaturated polyesters, and with acrylic monomers; with C.A.B. and nitrocellulose, compatibility must be checked on a case-by-case basis. SYNCRYL 413 is soluble in acetates, ketones, acrylic monomers; it is partially soluble in aromatic solvents; it is insoluble aliphatic insolvents and alcohols. However, it is recommended to verify compatibility and solubility with preliminary tests.

SYNCRYL 435 is a modified acrylic resin dissolved in solvents, designed for wood varnishes cross linkable with U.V. systems. of the “DUAL CURE” type resistant to yellowing with which excellent “open pore” paints can be formulated with both matt and glossy finishes, or closed pore pigmented enamels. The technical advantages deriving from the “dual cure” process based on SYNCRYL 435 are the following: excellent wettability of the wood pore, quick drying with the possibility of almost immediate stacking; excellent adhesion to the substrate, ease of matting with appropriate rheological behavior, extremely long pot-life, and excellent resistance to yellowing. Recommended photo-initiators: Mixtures of -hydroxy-ketones and phosphine derivatives are usually recommended. SYNCRYL 435 is compatible with the SYNCRYL series (only partially compatible with SYNCRYL 422) and with common acrylic monomers. Conversely, it is not compatible with unsaturated polyesters (SYNTEVEN series) containing styrene, nor with isocyanurates (e.g. URONAL RA 50/RA 55/B 55). SYNCRYL 435 is soluble in acetates, ketones, aromatic solvents, acrylic monomers; it is partially soluble in alcohols while it is not soluble in aliphatic solvents. However, it is recommended to carry out preliminary tests to verify its compatibility.

SYNCRYL 705/60 DPGDA is a U.V. crosslinkable acrylic resin. defined as “direct polish”, dissolved in DPGDA reactive monomer. SYNCRYL 705/60 DPGDA is used as a resin for formulating varnishes used both as primers and hardening finishes in UV systems for the wood and furniture sector. SYNCRYL 705/60 DPGDA is used in the formulation of paints cross-linkable with U.V radiations. transparent both very high gloss and opaque. The quantities of photoinitiator to be added depend on the reactivity to be obtained and on the acrylic monomers or oligomers used. The films that are obtained are very hard. SYNCRYL 705/60 DPGDA is soluble in acetates, ketones, aromatic solvents, acrylic monomers; it is partially soluble in alcohols while it is not soluble in aliphatic solvents. However, it is recommended to carry out preliminary tests to verify its compatibility.

SYNTEVEN 105 is a monomer free unsaturated polyester resin, low viscose, is suitable as binder in the manufacturing of pigment pastes.
