MAGRIS TALC

HYPERPLATE H92 is produced using a delaminating process developed by Magris Talc. HYPERPLATE H92 is much more lamellar than other conventionally micronized grades and provides improved mechanical properties when compounded in Polyolefin and Engineering Thermoplastics. Higher flexural modulus, HDT, and better dimensional stability (low CLTE, shrinkage) are obtained versus conventional talc products, without impairing ductility of the molded parts. HYPERPLATE H92 is Magris Talc’s high brightness, High Aspect Ratio talc, making it ideal for use in lightly-colored systems. HYPERPLATE H92 is delivered as spray-dried beads and has excellent flow properties for easy handling and high extruder throughput.

HYPERPLATE T77 is produced using a delaminating process developed by Magris Talc. HYPERPLATE T77 is much more lamellar than other conventionally micronized grades and provides improved mechanical properties when compounded in polypropylene. Higher flexural modulus, HDT, and better dimensional stability (low CLTE, shrinkage) are obtained versus conventional talc products, without impairing ductility of the molded parts. HYPERPLATE T77 is not white, but is nearly colorless, making it ideal for use in pigmented systems. HYPERPLATE T77 is delivered as spray-dried beads and has excellent flow properties for easy handling and high extruder throughput.

Imperial 200 USP is a high purity, platy talc designed for use in premium body and foot powders. Imperial 200 USP conforms to current USP Monograph requirements for talc as well as to FCC and PCPC (CTFA) specifications. It is manufactured according to the IPEC Excipient GMP guidelines.

Imperial 250 USP is platy, high-purity talc specially treated to control microbial organisms. Imperial 250 USP can be used in food, pharmaceutical applications, and as a filler for chewing gum. Imperial 250 USP conforms to current USP Monograph requirements for talc as well as to FCC and PCPC (CTFA) specifications. Imperial 250 USP is manufactured according to the IPEC Excipient GMP guidelines.

Imperial 400 USP is platy, high-purity talc specially treated to control microbial organisms. Imperial 400 USP can be used in food and pharmaceutical applications, as a filler for chewing gum base and personal care applications such as creams and lotions, soaps, facial treatment products, and pressed powders. Imperial 400 USP conforms to current USP Monograph requirements for talc as well as to FCC and PCPC (CTFA) specifications. Imperial 400 USP is manufactured according to the IPEC Excipient GMP guidelines.
