SONGSORB CS B5452 is a synergistic combination of a selected triazine type UV-absorber and a HALS. Its major features and applications are: Protection against surface defects such as gloss reduction, cracking, blistering, delamination, and color change of coatings and sealants; Broad UV absorbance and excellent photo permanence make SONGSORB CS B5452 suitable for industrial, architectural, and decorative coatings including energy curable systems; Recommended especially for exterior solvent-based applications in industrial and decorative coatings with a layer thickness from 30 – 60 micrometer and coatings applied to high bake temperatures and extreme environmental conditions; High thermal stability and high photo permanence make it suitable for applications exposed to high bake temperatures and extreme long-term environmental conditions; Good miscibility with the most commonly used paint solvents & water.

SONGSORB CS B5459 is a synergistic combination of a selected formamidine UV absorber and a HALS. Its major features and applications are:; Provides excellent light stability to epoxy based and polyurethanes (PUR) systems.; Strong UV absorbance at wavelengths where PUR is most sensitive.; Less discoloring than conventional UV absorbers and blends.; Miscible with bisphenol A/F – diglycidyl ethers as well as with polyether- and polyester-based polyols for easy stabilizer dosing.; Synergistic effects with antioxidants like SONGNOX CS 1135 or SONGNOX CS 2450.

Its major features and applications are: Protection against surface defects such as gloss reduction, cracking, blistering, delamination, and color changes of coatings, adhesives, and sealants; Highly efficient light stabilizer blend suitable for a wide range of coatings for wood, plastic, and metal; SONGSORB CS B5866 provides high quality, high light stability protection in coatings demanding a particularly high light stability; Designed for powder coating and for filled/pigmented systems based on silane modified polymers; The amount of SONGSORB CS B5866 depends on the dry-film thickness and the desired degree of protection. Use of Songsorb CS B 5866 may be combined with most US-Patent, EP-Patent and/or corresponding patents and patent applications in other countries.

SONGSORB CS UV1 is a UV absorber of the formamidine type for coating, adhesive, and sealant applications. Its major features and applications are: Absorbs ultraviolet radiation in the 240-340nm region; Significantly improves the resistance of clear coatings against discoloration, cracking, loss of gloss, and loss of adhesion; Strong UV absorbance at wavelengths where PUR are most sensitive; Less discoloring than conventional UV absorbers; To be liquefied before use by applying gentle heating (< 50 C); Excellent solubility and compatibility with high solid coatings formulations.
