Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer – SONGSORB 2020 is a high molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) for applications demanding light stability; SONGSORB 2020 is highly effective light stabilizer for polyolefins (PP, PE), olefin copolymers such as EVA as well as blends of polypropylene with elastomers; It also provides exceptional long-term thermal stability in polyolefins; It has excellent compatibility and high resistance to extraction because it has a much narrower molecular weight distribution, resulting in improved polymer processing; It has low volatility and food contact clearances; It often shows synergy with other light stabilizers, especially low MW HALS (SONGSORB 7700), high MW HALS (SONGSORB 6220), hydroxy benzoates (SONGSORB 2908, SONGSORB 7120), and UV absorbers; The recommended concentrations range from 0.05% ~ 1.0%, depending on application

UV Absorber – SONGSORB 2340 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 300~400 nm region and has a high degree of photostability – photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy; Is particularly suitable for application characterized by high surface area, such as films and fibers. Compared to other UVA, SONGSORB 2340 has a low volatility, which makes it especially suitable for applications involving high temperature processing; Applications include PET fibers and films, polycarbonate, POM, Polyamide, TPU, Polyolefins, TPE, and TPO; Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use; Should be stored in a cool, dry, well ventilated area, away from direct sunlight
