UV Absorber – SONGSORB 3260 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 300~400 nm region and has a high degree of photostability – photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy; Differs from SONGSORB 1000 principally in a greater absorption of longer wavelengths, better compatibility with polyolefins, lower volatility, and suppressed ionization of the phenolic grouping; Is less affected by alkalinity, is less likely to discolor with metals, and has less effect on metal driers and metal catalysts due to the higher dissociation constant of SONGSORB 3260 (approximately 13 as compared with 11.7 for SONGSORB 1000 – in 80% aqueous dioxane); Is recommended for use at levels of 0.2~1.0% in PP, PE, polybutylene, and polyesters; Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use; Should be stored in a cool, dry, well ventilated area, away from direct sunlight

UV Absorber – SONGSORB 3290 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 300~400 nm region and has a high degree of photostability – photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy; Protects polymers from UV radiation, helping to preserve the original appearance and physical integrity of molded articles, films, sheets and fibers during outdoor weathering; It provides effective light stabilization and prevents the yellowing and degradation of polymers such as polycarbonate, unsaturated polyesters, and acrylics; Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use; Should be stored in a cool, dry, well ventilated area, away from direct sunlight

Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer – SONGSORB 6220 is a high molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) for applications demanding light stability; SONGSORB 6220 is highly effective in PE, EVA, PP, polyurethanes, and polyacetals and an excellent light stabilizer in systems containing carbon black; It is not discoloring and has low stability; It has low basicity and low interaction with pigments; It has excellent resistance to migration and broad indirect food contact clearances; It is highly effective as long-term thermal stabilizer of polyolefins; It often shows synergy with other light stabilizers, especially high MW HALS (SONGSORB 9440, SONGSORB 1190), hydroxy benzoates (SONGSORB 2908, SONGSORB 7120), and UV absorbers; The recommended concentrations range from 0.05% ~ 1.2%, depending on application.

UV Absorber – SONGSORB 7120 is a substituted benzoate that absorbs ultraviolet radiation and through a reversible chemical rearrangement, dissipates the energy as heat; Provides better initial color than benzotriazoles; Exhibits a synergistic effect in combination with HALS; Can be used in combination with phenolic and phosphite antioxidants, and HALS for thermal and light stabilization in outdoor use – i.e. TPO bumper application; Is recommended for use at levels of 0.2% ~ 1% in Polypropylene, Polyethylene, TPO, PVC, EVA, unsaturated Polyester ABS, AS, etc
