SYNTEVEN 462 highly flexible unsaturated polyester resin. SYNTEVEN 462 is used to improve the flexibility in polyester systems to formulate conventional curing coatings (wax-free), U.V -curing for spray, roller, and knifing fillers. SYNTEVEN 462 is well suited for use as a flexibiliser in traditional curing and U.V curing polyester systems in clear coats, roller primers, and highly filled roller fillers. The system to which it is added is easier to sand because they abrade more readily. SYNTEVEN 462 can also be used to flexibly amine accelerated polyester resins for car putties.

SYNTEVEN 474 is a styrenic DCPD-modified unsaturated polyester resin amine (polymeric) promoted, with high reactivity and high stability properties. SYNTEVEN 474 is used as full binder for highly filled knifing fillers for metal, wood, and mineral substrates. SYNTEVEN 474 is a fast cold-curing resin, even at low temperatures. After addition of benzoyl peroxide (BPO) it yields a middle hard polymer. Fillers based on SYNTEVEN 474 cure fully both applied in thick and thin coats, and they are particularly suitable in the field of car body repairing. SYNTEVEN 474 has been developed in order to have a very fast sandability after the application.

SYNTEVEN 610 is direct glossy unsaturated polyester resin,it is used to formulate conventional curing coatings (wax-free) clear or pigmented for wood. SYNTEVEN 610 is well suited for use in the formulation of sealers with very good sandability , good reactivity, and low greening, for wood.

SYNTEVEN 614 is a DCPD unsaturated polyester resin dissolved in styrene, pre-accelerated with an amine accelerator, very reactive, highly stabilized with low shrinkage both for general use and for the chemical anchoring sector. SYNTEVEN 614 is also suitable for mastics and fillers for the marble and stone sector. SYNTEVEN 614 can be used in cutting with polymers of the Synteven series and after the addition of benzoyl peroxide, cold crosslinks even at very low temperatures, giving rise to a hard polymer with low shrinkage levels.

SYNTEVEN 701 is a styrene allylic unsaturated polyester resin for “direct gloss” varnishes in the formulation of transparent and pigmented varnishes for wood, wax-free, intended for the furniture sector, both glossy and matt, with good chemical resistance and very good resistance to graffiti. It is also used in the prescription of spray fillers for wood, metal, and plastic SYNTEVEN 701 allows to obtain formulations which have acquired a film with high chemical resistance, high distension, and excellent scratch resistance. The systems based on SYNTEVEN 701 harden with the methods normally used for polyester resins (Cobalt salts / Methyl ethyl ketone peroxides or Cyclohexanone); in any case it is necessary to take into consideration the desired drying times and the temperatures present in the application phase so that a correct ratio between cobalt and peroxide can be defined.
