MAGRIS TALC

MistroFoam is a lower brightness, high purity, platy, fine talc that is surface treated for improved dispersion and hydrophobicity as well as die lubrication in plastics and rubber applications. MistroFoam is used in plastic applications to increase stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability, and in rubber applications to reduce viscosity, improve processing, and reduce die plate-out. MistroFoam is also used for microcellar foam nucleation in polymeric foams, and for improving water resistance and electrical properties in wire and cable applications.

Mistron 002 is high purity microcrystalline talc. Mistron 002 improves exterior durability and barrier properties in architectural primers, topcoats, traffic paints, texture paints, and composite compounds. Mistron 002 also is suitable for use in adhesives, sealants, caulks, joint compounds, auto body patch, and putties.

Mistron 100/100DT2 is high-purity, platy talc. Mistron 100 is used for pitch control in all types of pulp and paper mills. Mistron 100/100DT2 also is available in compacted form to improve flow characteristics and minimize dusting.
