MAGRIS TALC

JetWhite 3CW is a new, ultrafine, hyper platy, bright talc product for reinforcing the most critical TPO applications. It is produced in Canada by a state-of-the-art beneficiation and micronization process which yields a product with exceptional reinforcing, dispersion, and molding properties in polypropylene based compounds. It is produced only in compacted form for good handling and faster compounding rates. It is usable in color matched and compounds requiring superior long term heat aging properties.

JetWhite 4H is a high purity, high brightness, platy, medium size talc used in interior and exterior coating, adhesive and sealant formulations to reduce hard settling; improve sag resistance and maximize prime pigment extension. JetWhite 4H is used in solid color and semitransparent wood stains to prevent tannin bleed and improve gloss uniformity without introducing abrasive characteristics. JetWhite 4H has a platy, hydrophobic structure used in architectural and industrial primers to improve barrier properties which impart corrosion resistance and stain blocking ability. JetWhite 4H can also be used in polymer applications for improving stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability in natural color applications requiring higher brightness. It is used in polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, and other plastic based applications to achieve maximum stiffness and is available in densified or compacted form to improve feeding, enhance extrusion throughput, and reduce dusting. JetWhite 4H may also be use in rigid packaging, appliances, and thermoformed products to: increase modulus of elasticity, modulus of rupture, and HDT; reduce water diffusion, weight gain, and swell in water, loss of elasticity and rupture modulus in moist environments; improve warpage, creep, dimensional stability, and elastic recovery.

JetWhite 6H is a high brightness, fine, micro-lamellar talc that is recommended for nucleation of polymers and for film and thin gauge polymer applications. It significantly increases the crystallization temperature of semi-crystalline polymers including polyolefins, polyamides, and polyesters. JetWhite 6H also enhances stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability of polymer compounds. The high brightness and micro-crystallinity of talc ore used makes JetWhite 6H ideal for film or thin sheet applications that require optimum optical properties, e.g. high clarity and low haze. JetWhite 6HC is the compacted form of JetWhite 6H and is recommended for maximum extruder throughput, minimum dust, and improved dispersion.

JetWhite 8230 is high brightness, high purity, macro-lamellar talc with top-size control recommended for color matching, color consistency, aesthetics, and improving stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability. JetWhite 8230 is used in plastics applications that require good surface appearance, high whiteness, and close and consistent color matching.
