LORD Chemlok Y-1520A adhesive is a clear, one-coat adhesive used to bond specialty elastomers to metal and plastics during vulcanization of the rubber. Chemlok Y-1520A adhesive is useful for bonding fluoroelastomers, polyacrylates, and many peroxide-curing elastomers to metals, including phosphatized metals.

LORD Chemlok Y-1540 adhesive is a one-coat adhesive used to bond peroxide curing silicone, EPDM and fluoroelastomers to cold rolled and phosphatized steel.

It is composed of a mixture of dispersed polymers and heat-reactive components in an organic solvent system. This bonding system will bond elastomer compounds based on natural rubber (NR), polyisoprene (IR), styrene-butadiene (SBR), polybutadiene (BR), polychloroprene (CR), nitrile (NBR) and butyl (IIR) elastomers to most metals, alloys, and rigid plastic substrates.
