SONGSORB CS 460 is a solid UV absorber showing an extremely high extinction coefficient. Main applications are Industrial Coatings, Adhesives, Inks applications like OPVs and Digital printing.; Due to the high extinction SONGSORB CS460 is providing outstanding protection to coatings and light sensitive substrates and offers excellent photo-permanence.; SONGSORB CS 460 has a relatively low self-color and provides high absorption in the UV-A region, allowing photoprotection of thin films. It is therefore especially suited for use in silver halide photographic papers or overprint varnishes.; It is as well suitable for wood stains and do-it-yourself paints and related applications.; The amount of SONGSORB CS 460 required for an optimum performance needs to be determined with tests covering several concentration ranges.; SONGSORB CS 460 can be used in combination with other UVA and HALS to achieve the ideal absorption coverage as well as the best synergistic effects.

SONGSORB CS 477 is a liquid UV absorber in dilution solvents for high-performance coating, adhesive, and sealant applications. Its major features and applications are: SONGSORB CS 477 is the appropriate UV absorber to meet the high performance and durability requirements of solvent borne-, UV curing-, industrial- coatings, overprint (OVP) UV blocking varnishes on prints, and coatings on glass or vinyl; SONGSORB CS 477 provides a broad band UV absorption, particularly in the UV-A region, and is suitable for coatings exposed to high bake temperatures; SONGSORB CS 477 can be used in combination with other UV absorbers and HALS to achieve the ideal absorption coverage as well as the best synergistic effects; It is designed to have a minimal interaction with amine crosslinkers and/or metal-catalyzed coating systems and coatings applied on base coats with high solar reflectance; It shows synergies and enhanced performances when used in combination with HALS such as SONGSORB CS 5100 or SONGSORB CS 292; It is as well suitable for wood coatings, penetrating finishes, and adhesives, as well as related applications for wood, plastics, and leather; Interactions such as its color change under high pH conditions should be cautiously reviewed.

SONGSORB CS 5100 is a liquid hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) based on aminoether functionality for high performance coating applications. Its major features and applications are:; Low basicity of SONGSORB CS 5100 prevents possible interaction with acidic product formulation ingredients.; Provides significant improvement in coating performance; minimizing surface defects such as cracking in clear coats and chalking in pigmented systems.; Exhibits synergy with UVA; significantly improves the weathering resistance and provides superior protection against gloss reduction, cracking, color change, blistering, and delamination.; Can be used in automotive and industrial coating, decorative paint and wood stains or varnishes as well as adhesives and sealants.

SONGSORB CS 622 is a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) for high performance coating, adhesive, and sealant applications. Its major features and applications are:; SONGSORB CS 622 is the stabilizer of choice for application demanding low volatility and minimal migration due to its oligomeric structure with high molecular weight.; SONGSORB CS 622 is it also effective as antioxidant and contributes to the long-term heat stability of polyolefins and tackifier resins.; As a solid, oligomeric low basic (HALS) it is designed to meet high performance and durability requirements of powder coatings as well as adhesives and sealants.; SONGSORB CS 622 protects coatings from surface defects such as gloss reduction, cracking and chalking and ensures the retention of mechanical properties.; In pigmented systems, SONGSORB CS 622 enhances the effectiveness of the UV absorber. Its major features and applications are:; SONGSORB CS 770 is a solid light stabilizer of the hindered amine family (HALS) with low molecular weight and suitable for applications demanding particularly high light stability.; It is also recommended for polyamides, polyurethanes, polyacetals, acrylics, elastomers, adhesives, and sealants based on silane-modified polymers (SMP).; It protects formulations against surface defects such as chalking, loss of gloss, cracking, discoloration, blistering, delamination and ensures the retention of mechanical properties.; Can be used in combination with UV Absorbers (SONGSORB CS 400 for industrial coating, SONGSORB CS 928, SONGSORB CS 900 for Adhesives & Sealants).; It is broadly compatible and can be easily incorporated to achieve long-term light stabilization.
